Currently I'm a 2010 graduate at the University of California San Diego, with a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution (Biology). I've also minored in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (ICAM).

I've had private art instruction since I was 11, and normal after school art classes before then. This was in traditional art though, and taught by a local professional in my hometown, Dante Rondo: [link] I've had my stuff shown in a restaurant and at a local art gallery in my hometown at age 15.

In highschool I taught myself how to use photoshop since it was required at an internship I did that makes army training games. I learned a bit of 3Ds Max there too. Whee! Since then I've moved on to making more digital art instead of traditional pieces.

I work for the California Condor Recovery Program at Pinnacles National Monument. I met your mom at a recent event, and she passed a copy of your 'Giants of the Skies' work to me, with a phone number contact, and said that you might be interested in doing some art for the condor program. NICE gallery! It's fun to see the stuff you're doing for CSUMB's program. I'm in UW's science illustration program right now, so it's cool to see the sorts of assignments that you all do down there! Definitely will be watching! :D
