DL for full 1920x1200 resolution.

After playing Xenosoga ep 3 again, I got inspiration to wall the nice ending scene of KOS-MOS drifting through space. For those who've played FF7, I interpreted the scene similar to Seto's, so the full title would have been "She continues to protect us even now" (and for all eternity), even when she's all battered and broken. Baww I love KOS-MOS! X3

Lovely scan used is from AnimePaper (more resolutions of this wall on AP too). [link]

Planet ring tut: [link]

Process:
Extracting and re-cging KOS-MOS took the longest, then painting the planet with my tablet took the second longest (I still think it looks like crap ugh XP). I added a planetary ring for kicks and to make the scene more interesting I guess. Took me about 2 days to complete.

Hope you like. Comments/favs are welcome. ^_^
Oh and btw, Sept 10 was my b-day! (And I finished the wall then too haha)

Too many haters for Xenosaga III. I thought it was great, though it wasn't too hard to do better than II. o3o I cried manly tears at the end of III. I mean seriously? Did they have to do that to Jin?? TxT

II was great plotwise, and the system was interesting, but the character design.....thank you III for atoning for you predecessor's sins. T___T Godsibb I fell in love with and made me look up Yuki Kajiura on youtube cause I recognized the voice, and lo and behold she did .hack music. I proceeded to download her discography from there. Xenosaga's soundtracks blew me away the most. *~* The score always fit with the scene to create a visual masterpiece since each track brought out the feeling of the moment flawlessly. I cried when Albedo died at the end off II since he was my favorite character but I also felt happy for him because he was finally free from the trauma of U-DO. Man, its hard to name a character I didn't get attached to.

Yes, III greatly improved the character design (though I did like Jr in II cause he looked older) and I also think they made the mech battles less restrictive than in II.
The music is great! I have a bunch of tracks on my playlist, including that one! "Abel's ark" and "In a limestone cave" are also some of my favs.
The characterization was really great, wasn't it? I wish they could've finished the full saga project, instead of cutting it short at III. I was one who played the original Xenogears (still have it!) and it's one of my fav games EVER. Apparently it's supposed to be episode 5. To me, the Xenogears references in Xenosaga were a pleasure!

Unfortunately I never owned a PSX so I missed out on the greatness that was Xenogears and could not experience that pleasure. *sob sob* But I was also disappointed that the series was abridged. I would have loved to play it through to the end, but unfortunately they figured they'd lose more money producing than they'd gain based on reviews. *sighs* I'd love to at least read the script ideas for all the games that didn't get produced.

There are ways to emulate Xenogears if you can't find ways to get it - it's a game that should not be missed! One of the deepest and thought provoking storylines ever. You could try searching for a copy of the ps1 game online, because it's still playable on the ps2 (though with some glitches I noticed, and especially so on the computer...it runs with no errors on the ps1 of course).

Yes I was very disappointed too... ;___; I would love to read a book form of the whole story too!
